Our award winning Head Chef, Hector Aguilar Valle, is a keen adventurer who left Peru at the young age of 18 to explore the world in seek of new and exciting opportunities. He has worked as an established chef in a number of locations around the world which include the United States, Europe, South East Asia, Australia and South America. During his travels Hector developed a sound understanding of local cuisines whilst developing exceptional culinary skills which resulted in him working for a number of Michelin star restaurants. Hector has been fortunate enough to work in some of the best restaurants in the world, most recently in Peru, he held the position of Creative Head Chef at Maido, voted number 13 at the World's 50 best restaurant awards in 2016.
